Neymar and Barcelona could potentially reunite soon. According to European media reports, there is a possibility that the forward might rejoin the Spanish club after his contract with Santos concludes this June.
The Catalan newspaper “Sport” conveyed Barca’s message to the Brazilian star: “Score 15 goals for Santos this season, and we will consider signing you,” the publication revealed on Monday.
Having spent a significant time away from the pitch due to a knee injury, Neymar opted to return to Peixe to regain his game form and find joy in football again. He has been impressive, already tallying three goals and three assists in the Campeonato Paulista.
Neymar’s Agent Doesn’t Rule Out Barcelona Move
After making a significant impact at Alvinegro Praiano between 2009 and 2013, Neymar moved to the Spanish club and thrived alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez. However, in 2017, he decided to join PSG, marking an end to his tenure at Barca.
Ever since, the Brazilian star’s name has frequently been associated with Barcelona, notably in 2019, though the move never materialized. Now, rumors are making their rounds once more.
Agent André Cury believes that a new agreement between Neymar and Barça is feasible. “He knows he shouldn’t have left Barça, and if he gets the chance to return, he will do so with great joy,” he confirmed in an interview with the Catalan radio station RAC1.

The star player is continually improving on the field wearing the Peixe jersey. This past Sunday, the former PSG player played a crucial role in Pedro Caixinha’s team’s 2-0 victory over Red Bull Bragantino in the Paulistão quarterfinals.
